A scanning enclosure you print yourself.

Print the parts, add four O-rings and turn four keys. There are no screws, and the same chassis takes 35mm and 120.

The chassis, carrier, mask, bridge, rollers, feet and keys are all printed. Each download has ready Bambu Studio projects, plus STLs for other slicers.

Add four O-rings.

Standard 5 × 2 mm nitrile rings, 70A, two on each roller. They’re the only parts you don’t print.

Links are for convenience only. Film Buddy isn't affiliated with these sellers and earns nothing from purchases. Any standard 5 x 2 mm O-ring should work.

A quarter turn holds it.

Four keys lock the stack without screws. Turn them back to swap between 35mm and 120. The chassis, feet and keys stay.

Building both? Reuse the chassis, feet and keys. Four O-rings equip one roller pair; use eight if both pairs stay equipped.

Stuck on a print or the fit? Ask in the hardware-help forum on the Film Buddy Discord.

Works with light sources such as the CineStill CS-Lite. Film Buddy is not affiliated with or endorsed by CineStill.

We check the geometry and slicing, but those checks can’t prove the fit or film safety of every print. Check your own parts before use. We haven’t measured optical performance.
