Audit status — Updated August 11, 2026
Film Buddy LLC wants the public website and beta portal to be usable by people with disabilities. This page is a status and feedback statement, not a claim of conformance or certification.
Audit scope and status
A complete WCAG 2.2 Level AA audit of the deployed website has not yet been completed. Film Buddy therefore does not claim that the site conforms to WCAG, Section 508, EN 301 549, or another accessibility standard.
Film Buddy no longer accepts waitlist submissions or beta-access applications, so no current waitlist or application form is included in the planned audit. The planned audit scope includes the marketing page, authentication and password-recovery flows, account-wide Buddy Log, coming-soon Mac beta state, beta-code redemption, saved-Mac-installation and two-seat management controls, account and download flow, historical-request archive in the admin portal, the rest of the admin portal, and every public legal page. Testing must include keyboard-only use, visible focus, screen-reader navigation, form labels and errors, zoom and reflow at 200% and 400%, contrast, reduced motion, responsive layouts, print views, and common desktop and mobile browser combinations.
Known limitations
Because the audit is incomplete, Film Buddy cannot yet provide an exhaustive or independently verified list of barriers. The current known limitation is the absence of completed assistive-technology and high-zoom validation across all beta-portal and legal flows. Audit findings, affected routes, workarounds, and remediation dates will be added here after they are verified.
Get help or report a barrier
If a page, form, document, or download is difficult to use, email hello@filmbuddyapp.com. Include the page URL, what you were trying to do, the browser and assistive technology used, and the format or accommodation that would help. Do not include passwords, access codes, photographs, diagnostics, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Film Buddy will use the report to respond and prioritize remediation. Support and accessibility messages are retained for 30 days after receipt.
