Download the free iPhone app and start with the light meter. Film Buddy for Mac is still in private beta; join the release list below and we’ll let you know when it’s available.

Is Film Buddy for Mac available?

Not publicly yet. Film Buddy for Mac is in private beta for Apple silicon Macs. Sign up for a release email. Creating an account doesn’t grant beta access. Existing invited testers can still sign in for their build.

Do I need an account on iPhone?

The Meter, included developing recipes, timers, and Light work without an account. A free, confirmed Film Buddy account lets you keep and sync your private Buddy Log and personal recipes. Create an account.

What happens to my photos?

Your Mac library, scans, edits, and exports stay on your Mac. Buddy Log connects your roll and frame notes through your account. It does not upload your Mac photo library. Read the privacy policy.
